EACH PARTICIPANT MAY ONLY SUBMIT ONE ABSTRACT AS "PRESENTING AUTHOR" WHILE PARTICIPANTS MAY BE LISTED AS CO-AUTHORS ON MULTIPLE ABSTRACTS
Abstracts and papers have to be submitted via the ISHS online submission tool.
A valid ISHS user account for 2017 is required in order to submit an abstract. So, if you are not ISHS member yet, please proceed to www.actahort.org/members/newmember first, register and pay to activate your user account prior to submitting. ISHS members will be entitled to register to the symposium at the reduced ISHS member rate. Otherwise, you must pay a non-member ISHS rate plus an additional fee for the use of the online submission tool.
All abstracts for both oral and poster presentations should be prepared according to the instructions and submitted to the ISHS online submission tool ROSA.
An abstract in English, limited to 200-300 words in a single paragraph, is required in all cases. The abstract should contain a concise but comprehensive statement of the problem and results. The title and the abstract will be freely available on the ISHS website and should be considered an advertisement for the paper as it may be all that most viewers will read. Thus, it should be carefully and accurately written. Your abstract will be sorted and arranged to organize the program by the keywords you proposed in the abstract submission.
All oral speakers must submit a manuscript for the Acta Horticulturae. Authors of posters are welcome to submit their manuscript for Acta Horticulturae but posters cannot be published as such. Acta Horticulturae is a peer reviewed series, covering mainly the proceedings of ISHS Symposia and the International Horticultural Congress. All Acta Horticulturae articles are available online at www.actahort.org. Papers should be prepared following the Acta Horticulturae author guidelines.
